The Duncanville ISD Education Foundation is a non-profit 501 c(3) organization that exists to benefit the students and teachers of Duncanville ISD.
Since we opened our doors in 1996, the Education Foundation has been helping teachers creatively teach their students. We do this by funding innovative teaching projects and giving teachers additional tools to help their students which will result in increased student achievement. The Foundation has funded over $1 million in innovative grants.
Due to the uncertainty surrounding learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, our focus has changed from innovative teaching grants to a large-scale fund-raising effort to support the District's technology needs of students. More information on this project will be forthcoming in October.
Dena McFerren, Executive Director, joined the Foundation in January of 2019. She brings specialized experience in relationship building and community involvement.
